Yakisoba w/ Sausage

Well this is my first contribution. Pics weren't taken at every step so you just have to kinda try to follow along, sorry.. My girlfriend cooked up a dish of Yakisoba (she's Japanese). The final might not look too desirable but then those who know Yakisoba knows it tastes really good . Images were taken with an Canon EOS 20D DSLR 8.2 MP @ automode. I had to dramatically size down all of these pictures . Note that we are amateurs lol...

Yakisoba with Okonomi & Japanese Mayonnaise with Sausages.

The Yakisoba can be purchased in Ralphs apparently. It's a clear bag that says YAKISOBA (in yellow text or something) on it, with red border. It's by the ham/cheese section. In this big bag of noodles, it's individually packed by serving size, I think there are like 6 little packs inside. The whole package is ~$5-6. Okonomi sauce, Japanese Mayonnaise, Sausage links were bought at Mitsuwa Market.

What's in it is this "yakisoba" package:

It's a black powder base that when you fry it with the noodles, and add a bit of water, it'll turn like saucy...

Japanese Sausage:

Vegetables:

Fry everything together, then add yakisoba sauce, then add sausages later:

After everything is settled add Okonomi Sauce & Japanese Mayonnaise.

FINAL PRODUCT, added sea weed, fish flakes:

Yeah all the noodle is buried in there somewhere :O

NOTE: May not look too desiriable, burnt veges... She didn't believe in using oil during this experiment, lol. Hope one enjoys... :clap

Overall, the stuff tasted amazing! The Okonomi sauce & Japanese Mayonnaise is a great combination

if you like Yakisoba, try Okonomiyaki. its little more involved but worth it.

Oh is that the pancake thing? That stuff is awesome... but my girlfriend couldn't make it, it failed while flipping it over. Her sister showed us up though.
