Somebody else already posted a thread like this, but I will answer this one anyway. The USDM is 2.25" and the JDM is 2.5" at the collector. As for aftermarket headers, the standard DC's are 2.25" but they make a JDM header that has a 2.5" collector. The Comptech is 2.25", the Spoon, Mugen, and Toda are all 2.5"

Careful. Mugen, for whatever reason, also has a USDM version of their exhaust manifold that's 2.25"

The JDM R's make 5 more ponies than USDM so maybe this is a contributing factor.

I do believe that the primaries are 2", although I am not sure. I do know however that the primary size in the USDM and the JDM ITR are the same as the CTR.
