Exhaust size.

would 3" exhaust after the catalytic converter be too much for a B18C5?
btw... its a swapped 4 door gs-r

also... what is the better JDM header, CTR 4-2-1 or the ITR 4-1?

3" seems far too big. 2.5" is generally the accepted maximum. 2"-2 1/4" would probably be ideal.

The ITR 4-1 exhaust manifold is better than the CTR 4-2-1, because it's a tubular design (CTR is cast iron).

Anywhere between 2.36-2.5 inch exhaust is good with no bottle necks and minimum bends. The Stock ITR exhaust is 2-2.25 inch in depending on some areas and it has bottle necks. Exhaust alone, you won't gain much. The jdm header is the 98 spec ITR 4-1 header.

The USDM ITR has a 2.25 exhaust but in the bottle neck areas, it is about 2 inches.

The JDM ITR exhaust is 2.36 inch.

I'd say a 2.5 should be Good. The "JDM" Headers have 2.5" collectors, so I'm pretty sure it should be good.
