GSR vs Type R rear brake

I was wondering if anybody have compare their rear brake and if anybody could tell me what is the different between them. I am thinking of buying a type r caliper and put the front gsr rotor (which is 10.3, basically the same with type r rear rotor) on the rear since I think both type r and gsr have the same mounting point for the rear caliper. Well that is what I am hoping anyway that the different in their rotor size due to the caliper instead of the trailing arms. This way I don't have to bother with a 5 lug conversion that cost an arm and leg but have the same size of rear brake with type r. Your help would be appreciated. Oh if there is any consolation my integra is not gsr does that matter? Is it only gsr and type r share the mounting point?

Oh btw, I thought IntegraTypeRice might know about this because in one of his posts (dated 02-19-2004, 12:36 AM) replying the tread titled Supspension Feel GSR vs I TYPE R by Integravtr. He mentioned that he owned both cars. But his message is full so if anybody else could help, it would be much appreciated.

IntegraTypeRice is on a distinguished road
I found out that the 02-03 Civic Si rear brake system is the same as the RSX and ITR. The Civic uses the 4 x100 while the RSX has the 5 bolt pattern.
This means that the RSX rear calipers can bolt on the 90-2001 Integras, if you use either A) the Civic Si rear rotors, or B) use the ITR/RSX rotors with the 4 x100 pattern drilled in them.

The Si/RSX rotors are 10.25, up from 9.4 on the Teg.

The Civic Si rear brakes will bolt right on the Integra too, but I don't know how many of them will be available so the RSX would be the best place to get the calipers. The only difficulty will be the parking brake cables have a different end on them now, they slip over the lever, rather thatn using a pin like the Integra. The cable will have to routed a little differently too since the lever pulls down instead of forward on the Teg.

Cliffnotes:

You can get the rsx or ep3 rear caliper and get the ep3 rear discs and have the same rear breaking system as the integra type R. Your gsr front rotor won't fit the rear caliper because it's vented, not solid.

You are right. I thought type r rear rotor was vented (based on information from sport compact car magazine dated march 2000)
