Question HELP!!!! mugen induction filter squeal

Someone please help cos its driving me mad ,,i have fitted a induction kit with a mugen filter to my 1999 type R teg and at certan point of the rev range it will squeal from the cone like a sqeaky brake,i have oiled the filter and there is no air leaks anywhere and it beats the hell out of me and its doing my brain in.im new to all this performance stuff so PLEASE someone help

Mods: 97 jdm b18c (type-r) jg edelbrock intake manifold, aem intake, dc sport 4-1 header, custom exhaust system
type-rswapped is an unknown quantity at this point
i have the same thing. I had the same induction on my other engine but as soon as i put the type-r in it started squeeling....right around 3000 to 4000rpm. I've tried everything and nothing seems to work.
It would be good to hear what people have to say.

induction squeal

i only added a the cone filter because i thought it would have been the filter.i have tried shortening the 3 inch induction piping but it has made no diffrence,any ideas please cos its doing my head in to the point where i wanna put the standerd air box back on

ok sorted it,it just needed a longer induction pipe to stop it squealing,,thanks guys
