ITR DC2 JDM B18C Spark Plugs??
Hi guys,
I need to know what plugs to put in the thing...
I have bought Bosch super 4's (FR78X) but according to the book these dont work in the B18C7?? is this my motor? im not sure... its a JDM type R.
If these wont fit, what plugs from Bosch, NGK, Denso will fit?
Thanks very much!
Steve

What year is your ITR? Stick with Denso or NGK. If you go to an auto parts store and tell them the year and model of your car, they can give you the right size and various different brands. BTW, your motor is a B18c5, to my knowledge there is no c7.

You do have a B18c5, I am positive. And regardless of it being JDM, the code for the motor is stamped on the block.
here's an example (Note: this pic is from a Civic with a B16, B18 Integra is in the same spot)

All that is stamped on the block is b18c (no numbers after it) and from what ive read on here thats all the jdm's have regardless of gsr or type r.. so im clueless :-)

Are you positive your car never had a motor swap done?
Also, I just checked a page for motor codes to double check, and this is what I found,
B18C Acura Integra SiR (JDM) 1995-1997
B18C3 Honda Integra Type R 1995-1998
B18C5 Honda Integra Type R 1997-2001
So, then I guess that makes your car a B18c3. Unless your car is a JDM sir, then its just the C. So perhaps you don't have a true ITR?
