WELL I SPENT $12,000 AND LOOK WHAT HAPPEN

WELL BASICALLY I HAVE A TYPE R I BLEW THE MOTOR AND BOUGHT A NEW ONE SO HERE STARTS MY PROBLEM.....
well i decided to go boost so i purshased all these parts

HEAD: B18C5 PORTED & POLISHED
Skunk2 titanium valves
Skunk2 valve springs
Skunk2 retainers and seals
Skunk2 turbo cams
AEM cam gears
AEM fuel rail
AEM fuel preasure regulator

So after spending all this money on my car i just got it on the dyno and the thing put out baseline 178hp....I WAS PISSED then they started to tune the emanage and it got up to 258hp@6200 and 193tq@6500 ok im not specialist but with all the fucking money i spent on parts i could have bought a 4 fogger system and sprayed a 100 shot and got better numbers.....so PLEASE ANYBODY HELP ME GIMME SOME INFO I LIVE IN MIAMI LET ME KNOW OF A GOOD TUNNING SHOP PLEASE.....

No one in here knows about turbos dude. You were better off in the FI section. But Ill leave it open

It's not really close... But if you go to P1Auto.com I bet you will be happy.
I made the trip from NYC and was very happy with the results on my R.

Wow that does sounds low for what you have parts wise.... i didnt see how much boost you were putting through the engine, whats the lbs? ur boosting? Whats the A/R and Trim on the turbo? As for the down pipe and turbo manifold, that could be some of ur problem right there. I have a similar setup and use a manifold from Ken over at cheapturbos.com, I also run hondata. I never liked the aem or greddy fuel management. I would look at maybe wrong turbo size, and bad tune, along with a wrong manifold for the turbo. Those are all critical for High HP numbers.

get better tuners and better tunning??? you should have more than 300 with those mods. It also depends on how much boost you are running at too.

with that much money he can make 600 to the wheels on his motor. Its just that he didnt get the right turbo and cams and not tuned right.

Sr20's arent all that either.
BTW it woulda cost alot more to put an SR20 in ant ITR

Who said anything about puting it in the ITR i would never do that and yes the SR20DET is al that because it can make 500+HP to the wheels on stock internals so i would think that it is all that.

i agree, a fool and their money soon part...why someone would waste 12,000 in the motor of a car worth 10,000 is pointless anyhow...not as pointless as 12,000 into an 1,000 dollar car but non the less, still pointless

Well why would he sell his car for another car just to put an SR20 in it.
And no. Sr20's are not all that. Trust me dude. 500hp on a stock motor isnt all end to great motors.

exactly. he just needs to sort his setup out. it seems like he has all the parts to make power. whether it's in the tune or the turbo sizing (44 outlet doesn't mean anything to me) something's wrong.
