Have you guys noticed the body is abit of different than the ones we see on the street in U.S? I love the sporty looking FIT in the pic. I wish they can add couple more HPs under the hood and call it FIT - SiR something. haha

Here's the official Honda Japan site for the fit. Click around randomly and find some stuff. http://www.honda.co.jp/Fit/
Personally I think once again Honda has messed up a good thing. The first thing we thought when we saw this was "Crap...it's a Yaris." then we moved to "Or a mini Odyssey." Either way, it's ugly. I'm glad we got the 07!

Cool... US version will probably have larger front and rear overhangs due to more stringent safety requirements, but hopefully there will be more in common with the JDM-spec Fit, making conversions much less involved than they are for the current 07-08.

Damn it!... they newcivicfied the Fit. Note the extremely short hood and mile long windshield. It's got the ugly triangle windows in front of the front side windows that I truly hate. You'll probably have to remove the dash to get to the front springs. It's madness! Definitely have to lift the car to get the motor out. I still cant decide whether I like the current fit but, if that thing comes stateside, I'll undoubtedly hate it.

Wait.... I got it! It looks like a Prius! Gah... Honda... pls fix, thx.

***Edit
I just watch a preview of the JDM 08 fit (Rumored 09 USDM) and I now understand the functionality of that triangle window. That being the case... Maybe it's not so bad but still, super short hood+super long dash and windshield =

interior is a lot different than US version, but again, not surprise, it's almost like they downgraded all model to US, same to the lude, same to the fit
