Aux (iPod) jack?

I have a sport model. Next to my power outlet by the front-seat cup holders is an "Aux" jack. If I have an "aux" device that plugs into this jack (like an iPod but using some kind of adapter cable), does it feed into the radio?

I thought there was a Honda accessory for this, and I thought it plugged the iPod in through the glove box.

The auxiliary input is just what it is, a universal input for external sound devices such as an iPod or some other mp3 player. Honda does offer, as do third parties, an iPod connector cable to the factory stereo. That cable charges the iPod, and also allows you to control it from the stereo I believe.

i use my ipod through my aux port cause it's easier, i dont want to pay $100+ for an ipod connector, i have no difficulties controlling my songs through my ipod

go to radioshack or any other electronics store and they will have that. its a pretty common cable
