Security System $165
MSRP including selected accessories: $15,464
Yaris:

Options: $1,855
50 States Emission, All-Weather Guard Package Includes: 5 Larger Washer Tank w/ Level Warning, Heavy-Duty Heater, Heavy-Duty Starter, Rear Heater Duct & Daytime Running Lights (DRL), Power Package[4] Includes: 4-Wheel Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) w/ElectronicBrake-Force Distribution (EBD), Power Door Locks, Power Windows, Power Outside Mirrors, Integrated AM/FM CD player w/MP3/WMA Playback Capability, Auxiliary Audio Jack & LCD Display, Cruise Control, 60/40 Split Fold-Down Rear Seat, Upgraded Interior Trim, Rear Defroster, Tachometer & 15-in. Steel Wheels
Accessories: $649
Carpeted Floor & Cargo Mats ( CF) $150
VIP Security ( V3) $499

That Yaris options package makes it equally equipped with the fit.
On both of them the only other things were floormats and a security system. Both of which I would not buy a car without.
They come down to the same price.
Honda Fit or Toyota Yaris sedan?

The Fit's $99 carpet mats... why not spring the extra $10 for the rubberized all-weather ones? I grabbed them when I picked the car up the day after.
Edmunds didn't like the Yaris much, iirc. I didn't like the exterior Yaris looks, though one of my friends disagrees with me there. Test drive the both! Harass the salespeople!

Well, I went a test drove each one. The fit is the winner. The yaris is way too cheap feeling of a car. The interior plastics are made for the $12k base model, not the $15k moderately equipped model. The center guages through me off, and my girlfriend says she hates its. I dont mind it, just still weird.
The fit has a better interior and a better engine. It doesn't pull as hard all the way towards the end, like the yaris does, but its low end grunt is pretty nice. And I had a huge salesman. He is like 6' 6" tall and probably near or over 300lbs
i was pretty impressed by the fit. Especially since all it comes with and and it has paddle shifters

*gasp!* Too cheap? Isn't that a little bit too much? I test drove Yaris 5 dr, and the quality is there, the interior is more upscale than the Fit (Jazz here). But the center gauge and the overall egg shape exterior threw me off, the extra body kit also a little bit too silly-car (Celica) for my taste.
However, the Fit got my pick for its crazy handling, cave-like cargo area (especially for the magic seat), zippy engine and the "chic" paddle shifter.

fit/jazz is better!!!
i think i`ll choose the fit, and i prefer the vtec, than the i-dsi engine...
you know,, i have a automatic cvt jazz vtec. I had a race with yaris a/t, at the start, it accelerate same, but after 60km/h i won!! My friends say, that jazz had a better handling.. and i agreed... In indonesia, Jazz(fit) had many rivals:
1. Toyota Yaris Hatch 1.5(110bhp)
2. Hyundai getz 1.4(80+hp)
3. Suzuki Swift 1.5(110hp)
4. Kia Pride 1.4 (97hp)
5.Suzuki Aerio 1.5(110hp)
and the winner is.... Jazz/fit (it is the same right???)
Oh yeah, with my car, i defeat this cars in highway: (i don`t know whether they fully accelerated or not, but i smoked them...hehehe..)
Camry 2.4
318i,320i,(the <2500cc)
getz,aerio,baleno...so many other cars...i forgot..
Ahh i love my jazz...
(i changed the air filter with k&n extreme, and change ny crankshaft pulley with the lightweight from maximum velocity...) It runs, better, and i easily reach 180km/h in my village road...(you, don`t have any idea how hard to find the empty, wide, long, and smooth road in indonesia)

Suzuki Aerio has a 2.3l 155hp motor. The premium package has more options, more room, and is only $15,200.

All the Suzuki Aeros I've seen have jacked up bumpers and side moldings and missing hubcaps. I've even seen some with fading paint. It is Jap scrap if you ask me.
