Going to take the wife to test drive the Fit tonight. What things should we look for, with problem areas on the Fits? What features can we NOT live without?!

I don't think that there are really any "problems" to be honest with you. Either it's well built, or it's too early to tell. I'd lean towards the former rather than the latter.
As for features you can't live without... I think it pretty much comes with all the basics. You get the Auxiliary jack on the Fit Sport so you can plug an iPod or other mp3 player in... or a laptop when you're on lunch to watch a movie or something.
Well I read about the a/c kicking out at highway speeds for a few people, and the paint chips on the outter corners of the bumpers. Didnt know if there were more to watch for or not.
We went and test drove an 07 Fit Sport, Silver, Auto for the wife. She fell in love with it and almost had me leave a deposit for it right then and there. I wanted to search a bit more. She is just anxious cause its the only one reasonably close to us. Out the door was $17K, and with down payment and all, payments were only around $250-260/month.
I have a feeling that she will be driving her own Fit by this weekend if she gets her way.
