hey guys,
I've had my fit for a little less than a month and have been investigating aftermarket go fast parts available for the fit. All of done so far is the T1R carbon intake T1R ignition booster/voltage stabilizer and grounding wires. I've also installed some A Spec strut bars and have an A Spec b-pipe on the way. I'm gonna be ordering the T1R header and crank pulley this week........but then what? I will be making suspension mods but right now I'm more cncerned about getting a little power. I'd rather not go the forced induction route if I ca avoid it. I understand this is a tiny 1.5 lier engine so it has lotsa limitaions but what do you guys think? Anyone have any suggestions? also what else could I do to allow my engine to hold up better to spirited driving. Are there any prevenitive mods that I should be looking at to ensure longevity and reliability of the engine? thanks in adavance for the input!!!
its definitely not a powerhouse. weapon R sells a power kit with intake, headers, intake manifold, engine torque damper for like 1000 bux and you get like 5-10hp. I'm not even gonna mod my fit motor, its pretty useless

Well, you could start off by installing I-H-E, intakes, headers, and exhausts I mean. There is a small increase in power, but if you still want more you can do so by modifying the engine - cams, cam gears, port and polish, bore, stroke, etc.
if you ballin, then mugen gots a supercharger kit that'll help. but if want to stay all motor, its pretty much gonna cost the same as going boost but with less power. you can always go nitrous!
i just dont get it. if your goal was spirited driving and power, a fit is not the base you want to get unless you have tons of money. a fit is a nice roomy compact good on gas that is great as a dd.
hks makes a turbo and kraftwerks makes a supercharger. Both will get you low 14s, and with an ecu tune you have 13's without a huge loss in fuel mileage, which is pretty cool. But I just take the accord or my RR if I want some spirited driving. The fit is the utility car, not the sports vehicle
