It's ridiculous that Honda is dragging it's feet with the production of a factory here in the states for the manufacturing of Fits. If they were able to pump more of them out and get them here across the pond quicker they would sell so much more of them. The dealership I worked at had a waiting list almost 100 customers long and a waiting period from 8 to 12 months depending on the color and features of the vehicle. I was told it won't be until atleast 2010 before they have a factory located somewhere here in the states...

Honda rep also had photos of the Accord wagon from overseas and that thing looked sweet as hell... Unfortunately the only demographic for wagons is here in the northeast so we'll never see those.

Nonetheless the FiT is quite the neat car... Quite a bit of space for the size of the vehicle. Hell of a lot nice than all the other "micro" cars being produced today.

Congrats... Put some 19"s on it...

No 19's, it would be a dog. I'm going to get some 15" Rota Circuit 8s... Maybe Circuit 10s

Anyway... filled her up today! 41.16 mpg!!! 30% city driving 70% highway. 362 miles on the clock. Taking her up to about 4000 rpm now from time to time. Motor sounds strong.

~Peace

I saw a pretty clean FiT in the woodlands, texas. I think the owner of it was going for a JDM theme with it. Overall it was a cool car.
