I just got this nice unit installed on Friday and put it through its paces over the weekend. Overall a nice intake, makes going past 3000rpm that much sweeter, and also makes the once tame and quiet Fit a bit louder and more responsive. Sounds like a growl when going past 3000rpm, or accelerating hard. In normal driving the engine still sounds just like stock, very quiet. Anyway, here are some pics of the unit itself, and then installed:
I re-routed the coolant hose to the TB with a new hose, so I could get rid of the unsightly copper tubing that used to be where the last two pics show. A bit of a pain in the @$$ to install (the new hose), but everything was straight forwards to put in.
Some have reported better gas milage after installing this intake, but I've been doing a lot more spirited driving after getting it installed, so I'll have to wait until my next fill up to see if it's true.

Thanks guys! And the intake cost me $360 before shipping (from A&J Racing). I thought the AEM CAI was expensive back in my Civic days, but seeing as there aren't many options for AT Fits, and not wanting a CAI anymore, this T1R intake was the only one I really liked.

Mods: 10 years and 320,000 miles later and still no engine swap yet...
marokero took me for a ride last night and it's interesting the sounds the fit makes now with the intake...
it goes from docile to a guttural growl, like a lion/tiger...
with the car not having a lot of power to begin with, you'd have to get used to the growl in daily driving (stop-and-go-hurry-up-before-that-bitch-in-the-hummer-rams-you-from-behind) as you'll constantly be above 3000 rpm where the growling starts...
a very nice, quality piece from the look of it...
but damn!!!
$360 for a short ram intake?
gotta say the stock suspension is very good, too...
i really, really, really wanna see this thing at next season's autocross!

i thought the fit was like the K series where the intake manifold is in the front and the exhaust manifold in the back how come the throttle body is in the back???

The L15 engine is layed out like the K series, but due to space constraints I think Honda decided to route the intake manifold backwards for easier access and maintenance of the TB. It really is a very small engine bay - I can hardly stick my hands between the intake manifold and the front frame.
