Apexi Intake System
Good system overall, it uses the stock intake pipe with a short metal piece and a filter. The filter is of the best quality Ive seen, and it gives your car a very nice sound, sounds nothing like an AEM or Injen intake does. Keeps a nice semi stock sound to the car. I could tell a fair gain in the butt dyno when this was installed. Id say this is one of the best $100 bucks Ive spent on my car. 5/5 on this product

There was a filter test done on skylines a while back ago. And the apexi filters blew away the compeition in terms of power gain and filtration. If someone has a copy or link of that, please post it up.

yea its just the filter, but thats pretty much all it come with, just a filter and a small section of pipe that goes onto your stock rubber intake piping...

Just recieved my apexi power intake in the mail. Put it on my 1995 Honda Prelude Si. Nice sound, quiet when cruising, power gains werent much but am looking forward to better gas mileage. Overall 5/5 considering its only $100
I have one on my 91 CB7. I love it! Best filter out on the market. It's dry-flow just like the AEM ones, but with a dual-funnel design. Sounds awesome at wide open throttle.

thats why I would never consider purchasing an Apexi intake, is just a filter and an adapter, I just dont see spending $80 on a kit thats not a complete intake, and not C.A.R.B approved, your just paying for the name IMO.
the most important part of the intake system is the filter. The pipe doesn't matter as much as the filter. Plus, I used a 3-inch aluminum pipe from ASR and it worked perfectly. I would definitely say this filter is better than K&N.

Did you need an attachment for the filter? i have bin reading a lot and i cant figure it out. I am thinking of just getting a cheap cold air and putting the apexi filter on it. will it fit straight on?
