AN-R Insulated IM Gasket

AN-R Insulated IM Gasket

Quote:
Special high temperature insulating gasket made of 0.128" thick polyethylene which replaces the stock intake gasket. This and bypassing several heat sources significantly reduces the transfer of heat from the head to the intake and incoming air giving you up to 5% more power.

Testing has shown an average drop of around 10 degrees C which is good for around 3 percent power increase.

took about 1hr to install and it's quite worth it. after the install, you notice that the motor seems to be running easier. not necessarily any gains felt, but definitely less hesitation. 4/5 overall because i expected more out of it, but i'm a high maintenance kind of guy and i tend to expect too much out of everything good addition to your setup if you're looking to add a few more extra horses while you're at it. $35 w/ free shipping, reusable gasket made out of heat resistant thermoplastic? well worth it in my book.

in addition, if you think it's just a slip off, slip on kind of install, you're in for a surprise. i'm telling you right now.. TAKE THE WHOLE MANIFOLD OFF. it'll make your install a lot easier.
