comptech rear sway bar/tie bar
The install on my 99 civic dx was not easy for me. Jacking up the car was a bitch. I used two floor jacks and four jack stands.
once I got underneath the car I had to remove the control arm bolts to mount the tie bar.
The bolts were a little hard to remove and almost impossible to put back.
bolting up the sway bar was easy. one cool thing I liked was the fact that the sway bar bushings do not need any grease. You wrap the bar with the included teflon tape, and you put the sway bar bushing over the tape. no squeekes at all !
The endlinks were some really high quality machined pieces, and they were easy to install. you also have three settings. I have it on medium for now.
the rear of the car feels very tight when driving. the steering seems to quicker too.
I highly recommend it, worth every penny

Just installed
I just installed the Comptech rear sway/tie combo on the hardest setting on a 2000 Civic. I have ITR springs with Neuspeed Koni Yellows on the lowest perch setting, almost full stiff setting. I have Energy Suspension front sway bar bushings and endlinks. I have since turned down the Konis because the rear sway bar helps so much with turning that I didn't need such a harsh ride from them to keep a neutral feel. The install was extremely easy and straightforward: a little over an hour for me. Then I went for a drive and "WoW!" it's amazing :w00t . The car turns in extremely quick and can maintain contact with the road with no sliding. I don't think I have been able to break the tires loose since I installed this while going around a turn. I can also feel that the car does not push through turns anymore. Excellent! :clap
I'm running the comptech rear tie/sway combo with koni yellows and h&r sport springs on a 98ex coupe. I love the comptech setup. It seldom gets in the way on the street, but allows good turn in and lets the rear end rotate on the track.
I am only on the middle setting. If you go stiffer, you really do run the risk of snap oversteer on the street if you go into a turn/corner too hot. I found this out the hard way when my rear end fishtailed on a decreasing radius turn shortly after I installed the bar, and that was with only the middle setting. Once I got used to it, I haven't had an issue since.
The quality of the bar, brace, end-links is amazing, but that is what you pay for with comptech.
