Megan H brace
well for 70 bucks from rober racing, why the hell not? so I instaled it in in about 20 minutes,
jack car up undo bolts,tq bolts down properly done.
I take it out for a testdrive and car feels pretty good, nothing huge but definetly less flex up front. car seems more stable and controled.
also if you have a lowered car like myslef, this thing will SAVE YOUR ASS!! it is beefy as hell even tho its just aluminum!! its consturction is super stong, I have hit countels object including a di in the higway ta 90mph and it takes it like a CHAMP, if I didnt have it I would have to be buying a new catback anf header right now.
at worst this thing is cheap insurance for your exhaust and header/downpipe, ic of mine after 90mph smash(sparks flew lol), now its eve worse and the pain is chiping a little more but still not cracked of broken!!
I live in NH so its constand bombardment of potholes this thing is a lifesave!

Just offering my $0.02.. I would advise against these style bars. They do not have adequate ground clearance and if bent, they will tweak the chassis setup which will do more harm than good. They also don't really do anything that you couldn't do by just replacing the compliance bushing.

explain how it would "tweak" the suspension?
from my experience these things are very firm and refuse to bend. I would see it breaking in 1/2 before bending...

The bar could easily bend. Remember it is attached to a car that weights 1.25 TONS!. If the car is lowered, then it already has limited ground clearance and this bar hangs even lower. When (not if) it gets bent, it will pull the suspension out of alignment.

to me its just not very reputable, even though i have a connection to it, at the price i can get their parts is not worth it. i (and probably the others raggin on megan) would rather spend a little more for products a little better developed, such as unhinged strut and pillar bars. dont get me wrong, im not a hater of their parts, my brother has a lot of them in his car, i just would rather get something different i guess. as for your bar, i kinda like it, just that it makes the car have an even lower spot. its like a skid plate in a sense, of course it will protect what ever is above it and it will take the abuse, but when you realize that the ground clearance that was there before the part was put in gave the protection anyways, it seems more or less pointless. my bad for the long post

I hear what your saying and yes it is lower by about 1/2 of an inch then the header but you dont always bottom out on purpose somethimes it just happens. I would rather hit with the h-brace then buy a new exhaust and header.
I dont have any of their strut bars since they do have flexpoints(making them virtualy pointless) butu I do have their rear camber and toe kit. I did a check up on them after one year and they are in perfect shape! the bushinbgs are still great and the car is in perfect alinments as well(sears free alinment check FTW)
