Nah 50 shot wouldnt be to bad on a well maintain and opertating motor but for the tranny........ also it would still be slow. You can get TQ converters but why? The auto tranny saps alot of pep from the motor.

at most you would need to retard the timing 2 degrees..the fuel pump isnt necessary..and liek the rpevious poster said, the trans is going to hold you back a lot..and honda trannies arn't known for their longevity when you start adding more hp to your car

retard timing

I wouldnt retard the timing untill yous got it on a dyno. For get the fuel pump and get a colder sparg plug for yous car. Its not fun when yous melt a plug down their in the heart of yous engine.

Obviously english is not your strong subject...

retarding the timing for nitrous isnt a means to gain or lose hp, though it will effect power levels, but to prevent detonation. And if he decides to spray before retarding the timing he "could" do damage to the engine form detination. And at his current modifications, a dyno session would be a waste of money.

And regarding the spark plus, he isnt going to melt it down. He would run into issues again with detonation and that would destroy the electrode, grounding strap and possible shatter the porcelin depending on how bad the detonation is.

For the Op:

retard your timing 2 degrees to error on the side of caution and go with two steps colder on your spark plugs. Dont bother getting on a dyno becuase you would be wasting your money

Well for one, this is just how I type. Yous dont like it, then dont read it. Second, yous is real mature! I only suggested the dyno so he could see how lean or rich he is. Who cares about hp gains. To be safe, just do the install and then take it to a shop so the can see the air to fuel ratio before yous start messing with the timing. In all reality, if he does nothing with the timing on a 50 shot, he will be fine. Its just an 50 shot, and its just an honda!!! Just get spark plugs that are two stages colder. Lets see.... yes the porcelin might break, or the weld on the manifold, or the throw out bearing, or fry yous rings, or burn a whole in the piston, and yes melt the tips of the of the plug. Yous will melt the tip off way before the porcelin shatters! I love it when an moderator opens his mouth and acts like he knows everything.

Obviously, english is not yous strong subject either. I have recopied what yous wrote and fixed all the spelling mistakes. The have been written in bold so yous can compare! Also, i would be more than happy to fix yous grammer next!!!! I hope yous enjoy!

60's were in the mid 2.4'ish..or 2.6's.. the car doesn't have 3 gears *shrugs*
5.0's?? lmfao.. i've yet to run a 5.0 that doesn't get beat by a bus length.
I'll stroll the evo or sti from a 30 punch all day..from a dig is a different story.. i'm a roll racer anyway, i can launch my car , but why put that stress on there anyway, when all that matters is who's ahead by 4th gear..
i've been stompped by other cars, dont get me wrong, i had a 06 si with bolt ons and a 75 shot beat me by about a car or so.. maybe not even that, of course thats before my new setup, i had the itbs then but i was still walking back up on him i'm sure if we would have ran pass 100mph i would have beaten him.
and that 06 si on stock tires ran 14.4's off the juice.. on the juice i believe he ran almost a 13.6?
