Calling ALL Nitrous GODS.....I need HELP!!!!
Well I have a 01 prelude sh with aem cai, zex plugs and zex dry 55. I went to the track and ran consistent mid 14's ...14.4 being my best. This evening I went out to the tracks, I just changed my plugs, but did not gap them, the were zex hyperperformance with 3 prongs. When I got to the track I was runnin shitty, I couldnt feel a difference but the timeslips told me something was wrong. I looked under the hood, and noticed some oil on my fuel rail, and a little under the spark plug cover. Also when I pushed the throttle a little I heard a very light knocking noise. I cant here it from inside the car. But I can hear ver lightly when I pop my hood and rev the car a bit, I cannot hear it at idle. What do you guys think is wrong? What should I do? Anyone in WPB florida arear that could come take a look? Thanks guys please respond, I dont wanna drive before I know whats up.
if you haven't done so yet, check the plugs again and see if there is any oil or coolant on them. also if there are any signs of predetonation that may have occured or a lean condition.
that's kind of odd that there was oil on the fuel rail and under the spark plug cover. did you spill some oil on the valvecover or did the oil cap come loose?? is there oil anywhere else? how does the motor perform in the current condition?
this could be a bad sign considering that you heard some knocking sounds, even if they aren't too loud.

I may have spilled oil, but it seems to keep reappearing. As I said, I feel no difference in day to day driving, and idle seems fine, except that it seems as if my water temp gauge seems to also not be getting as hot as it used to meaning it use to sit just below the 1/2 way mark, now it sits like 2/5 of the way up. I dont know what to do. Could it be a piston/rod nock, bent valve? loose valve? What is wrong, could somone come meet me somewhere to maybe take a look? This is my only car, and I have no money to goto a mechanic.
i'd come and look at the car for, if only i wasn't 18 hours away.
it could be the valvecover gasket or seals, maybe the rings or valveguide seals. if there is some knocking then there could be some internal wear or damage.
are you losing lots of oil? out of the exhaust or from the leak?
