fuel system up grades

Does it just depend on your cars needs or should the fuel pump be replaced first for higher dry shots? Right now I'm using the red nozzle for the vcn 1000. Something goes wrong when I try to use the green one though. Checking the timing this week. I think the mechanic was messing with it even after I explained to him once already about the importance of not advancing it. He didn't speak good english so I don't think he understood. I have an act clutch but I think it should be capable of handling the 50-75 shot right?

yeah the clutch will handle the 75 fairly easy. get a timing light and check your timing to make sure no advancement is made. not for sure on the vcn 1000 shots but anytime we go over a 75 shot in a honda (which is pushing it) we go with a bigger pump. walbro 255lph does us just fine for our street cars.
