ive recently build my motor, just waiting til it gets tuned. (ls/vtec, itr pistons, itr rods, 89mm crank,toda cams, skunk2 valvetrain, rc 310in, walbro 255 fuel pump, engine fully rebult, arp bolts,studs,new fuel pump etc)
i have a wet nitrous kit that i would like to use,
though i have a few queries,
First of all my compression is around 12.5, clearances are very tite.(already using a thicker headgasket)
second this is i havent really got the money to go direct port, though i understand it is alot better. So i will be runnin a WET n kit
Im wanting to run 100 shot, and also planning to get a set of colder plugs. will 7 be enuff|?
though im not quite sure how safe this will be... ?
Im going to richen the a/f ratio and also retard the timing when i use Nitrous, h many degrees i dnt know any recomendations..|
and have a seperate map but still not sure how safe this will be?
and how safe will it be if i dont retard timing ?
I will be controlling the nitrous with a progressive controller. iam running 94 ron fuel.
so if u run this how effective will it be ?

You must retard the timing with a 100 shot. 2 degrees for every 50 shot.
Running a direct port kit is way safer cause each cylinder receives the same amount of nitrous and fuel.

i think it'll make it safely with 100 shot but, why put its limit,
i'd run a 80 with the jets .020 in each cyl making 20shot per cyl..
it'll be less likely to push the limits of the motor and infact, a direct port hits harder and shows higher numbers then just a regular nitrous..
Just to give an example my buddy sprayed his jdm h22 with bolt ons with a 75 shot
and it showed up as 112+whp, it was a direct port wet kit..
you get what i'm saying?

i dunno i dont think your motor will blow up the higher your compression is... if you dont take timing out and you pre-ingnite then there will be someproblems start running a 50 shot and just run it a few times and check plugs...plugs tell you a lot when your running nitrous TELLS A LOT!!! iof u wanna kno more about how to read plugs just say somethin.. it shows how to read them in your car manual.. but yea gl what kind of kit did u get?
