nitrous in small engines - help

I have a 2.4 liter DOHC engine, 4 cyl (240sx, 1998, ka24de).
I want to know how much nitrous I can safley run for my daily driver w/ stock internals, but not using the n20 everyday of course. Do I retard the timing 2 degrees per 50 hp gained from nitrous? I want to get the maximum cylinder pressure as far away from TDC as possible correct? What steps can I take to make my engine as nitrous friendly as possible, and if I only use nitrous at the track, and rarely on the street - how much do you think I could safely use. I only have Short Ram Intake and Exhaust.

a 50 shot would be nice on the KA24, even with just I/E.

if you want to be safe a degree or two of ignition retard wouldn't hurt. and the colder plugs are important, also try a smaller gap with stock ignition if you have any problems.

where in FL are you from? i was just down there last week and went to the Sat. night Nissan/240 meets. i met up with Kevin (Mugen1182) if you know him from SHO.

Naples, FL....Southwest FL.

How much nitrous could I push on a KA24DE w/ 45k miles?
And still be safe w/ just I/E/H.

i'd go with 50-75 shot wet. if you go much more you could run into problems.

try talking to Mugen1182 in the off topic forum. he had a Civic but also has 2 base model 240's with the KA24 in it so he may be able to provide more info since he know's more about Nissan 240's.

oh yeah and he's from Orlando also.
