SOS!!!NEED SOME HELP

i am running 40HP shot(predicted 50HP) on my Accord 1999( F18B2 SOHC VTEC original 135bhp 60000 miles, stock internals, 4-2-1 headers, decat, big bore exhaust, cold air intake kit, skunk2 70mm throtle body, NGK perf. spark wires, fuel pressure regulator setted 40psi,Cold Fusion nitrous single nozzle(predator nozzle) wet kit with purge solenoid and bottle heater). how far i can go without retarding ignition, because euro model accord 98-02 have knock sensor which sense detonation and provide signal to ECU which adjust ignition timing,it is no chance to adjust it manualy, only fit MSD 6 ignition control box with retarding...so mean while how much i can spray without retarding?FAQ says up to 50HP, no need retard timing, just pick up one step colder spark plugs...i am using now one step colder HKS spark plugs with gap 0.7mm.So how i understand 50HP it is a line after this retarding needed, but which HP it counts, predicted or real HP on wheel, because predicted power gain for my setup is 50hp, but on real iam having about 40HP.I am never activate nitrous longer that 2-3 sec on each gear, but planing go longer.Should i keep same settins or drop to 35HP ?And whats limit for my setup without timing retarding?and which HP you mean predicted or real one?sorry for my english and MANY THANKS!!!

you can run a 50 shot without retarding your timing, which you have done. I would even venture to say you could go with a 60 shot also...but at 75 I'd definately start retarding the timing...I'm talking about predicted hp gains...as far as how long to spray in each gear..it all depends on your gearing..i wouldnt go spraying in a long 4th gear or in 5th

Many thanks for your quick reply!!!
As your suggest, I gonna keep 50hp shot. Normally I am spraying 1st to 3rd gear between 3500 and 5500rpm with full open throttle. My engine has a VTEC point at 3500rpm. How do you think can I engage nitrous at 3000RPM? I just afraid spray gas into engine while cam shaft profile is changing...

spraying while the profile is changing isn't gonna hurt, but spraying at low rpm will

i know...i want my old engine(SOCH F18B2 134bhp 100000miles)to kill, so i tryed spary as much as possible. So my setup was 120HP wet shot, step colder sparks, no timing retard(i hoped my knock sensor and ecu managed timing)....I went on highway, and emty 10 lb bottle on 5th gear....i got huge boost for while, but when stoped relised all my engine bay full of burning oil and piston in 3rd cylinder is melted.Well, i expected this and had new engine in garage. But i was surprizes how great honda's engine and gearbox are!!!

For every 50 shot of nitrous, you retard your ignition by 2 degrees.

2 degrees for 50HP?i think its too much.well iam runing predicted 50HP shot with wet kit, also have fuel presure regulator setted at 40psi(stock 36HP) and i am using fuel with 100 octane number and HKS 1 step colder plugs with gap 0.7mm(stock 1,3mm).\i am even afraid that i am running too rich ...i think if i wont go as far as 50HP shot i can keep my timing. But your opininon very important to me.many thanks

First off, lemme get this straight, you think its too much, yet you have NO idea what you should retard?
Dont ask a question then say you think this.. if you dont understand what your fooling with leave it alone.
I wouldn't just reply to a thread if i didn't know what you were talking about..
I ran the gas before, plenty of times, i've been threw 25~100 shot direct port on my c5, stock bottem end. You got along way to go to learn about how to spray your car correctly.
First and formost, anything under a 100 shot, you'll make MORE power using a dry shot.
Secondly i have no clue where you have your jets tapped too, whether its the intake arm or tb, or manifold,
Thirdly, HKS? Can you say overpriced? get you some regular ngk 7's and u'll probably make more power with ngks or autolites then you do with stupid hks plugs..
I'm a tuner, i get paid to give people advice, i build motors and i tune them. Everything your going to think of trying on your car with nitrous, i've already done, i'm chiming in to help you bypass all the headaches and worries.

oh ya, for some little food for your head
less than 10psi: 12:1 Air Fuel Ratio
up to 16psi: 11:1 Air Fuel Ratio
9.5:1 compression or less: 1 degree retard/#boost
above 9.5:1 compression at least 1.25 degrees per psi
50hp shot = 1 psi or equalive too
You should be WOT at 12.9~13.3 all motor on the juice u should be a steady 12.9 AFR.

also http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1919593
but what do i know, i just get paid to make people go fast.

ok,i uderstand your point. But if you read beginning of this threat you know i cant retard my ignition, because my ECU,i tryied many times with service connector jumped, also i was using strobe gun - timing marks stay still while i rotate distributor...only option get MSd or other ignition with timing control.Mean while i was asking people how far i can go with stock timing with my set up(another thing i have knock sensor which feels detonation and make ECU to adjust timing)?Thats all. Most people and FAQ said 50HP shot....Whats your recomendation?
Predator nozzle 6 inches from TB,HKS because market in UK doesnt have many NGK products,as well as other important things for me...

While the car is running, jump the connector then proceed to loosen the dizzy and retard it, this SHOULD Work and is the proper way to advance or retard the dizzy do it by 2 degrees' u'll be fine.UK? get em shipped to your house it ins't hard

yep, i tried few times adjust with jumped service connector, nothing happened - i checked it with strobe gun - timing marks stay still at 12 BDC(stock timing), distributor rotates a bit, may be 3 mm only, well i have 3 marks 14 12 10 on flywheel. I rotated distributor clockwise until end, pointer moved slightly to position between 12 and 14. Manual says if timing not match with stock settings - change ECU...Any way i am keeping my distributor and max clockwise position, but its doesn't make big difference...Also NGK spark plugs have 1.4 mm electrode
gap, but my nitrous supplier recommends 0,7mm and not recommend adjust gap
manually. Any suggestions?

if you got a plug gaper, run the stock gap for the car...thats all thats needed your not shooting a 100 shot just gap them to the correct gap of the stock plugs. and i'd seirously look into getting some ngks.

Nitrous is a direct poweradder, running a 49 shot tuned correctly should give you around 49whp.
you may run stock timing but get colder plugs.
12 tdc is very low compared to my itr which i run 18 tdc. so. your fine, for now.
