tech wrench Tranny for nitrous?

Here's tha deal.

My goal is to go H22 EF, and I got to realizin' that the majority of the people who have done this have had BAD traction issues. So I was sort of thinking about being a smart guy and going with the lowest geared f-series tranny instead of the H22 tranny.

The benefits are or at least what I think are:
-less of a torque spike
-better traction
-better fuel economy (huh huh!)
-cheaper cost overall

However, I am gonna fog this h motor. I feel that the f tranny will give me alot less of a torque spike when the nitrous comes on, which I think will promote better traction and engine life.

What do you guys think? I am assuming that everyone thinks that the f-series tranny won't hold up.

h22 with f22 tranny will have longer gears and slower acceleration. i dont really see much improved fuel economy either.

traction, get some traction bars and slicks.

dude just get a jdm h22 with an lsd trans and run some good tires or some d/r like mickey thompson street e/ts if your gonna haha... but my buddy has a jdm h22 in his ek and i mean ya traction is bad if he dumps the clutch but u just gotta kno how to drive, my crx with an ls with bolt ons was horible one street tires.. how do u think the 400 hp efs do it?? some way some how u will get traction. just find out the right set up and as far as short gears the jdm h22 has very close gears just as close as my y1 tranny, i was able to pick up speed in 5th going 18mph so ya there close on the jdm h22. PLUS the lsd will help with the traction good luck

Suspension work my friend... It's the basis of a perfect car. LSD helps as well. I swear by mine!

Not to get on your ass but every h22 swap ive seen drove fine didnt have traction issues just get a suspension. If you know how to drive traction wont be an issue and b18c if you want to road race and shit other then that h22 seems to be the way to go these days cheap motors and torque monsters
