ZEX kit for my 98 civic
I am seriously coinsidering a 55 shot of ZEX for my car. I need to be faster and cant afford a swap or turbo so N20 seems like my only option. I know some basics about N20 but wanted you guys to give opinions, advice and facts. So I will start, I have I/H/E right now. I am pretty sure with N20 it is recommended to get 2 degree colder plugs? I want a purge valve and know its good to clear the lines but is it neccasary? So ok, I get my kit, have it installed, 2 degree colder plugs put in, possibly a purge vavle, anything else you would recommend? Now with spraying, I am not sure if all kits work at WOT but thats what I want mine to do. So I have heard NOT to spray to late in the RPM range so you dont hit rev limiter and dont spray too low in RPMs becasue blah blah (not sure why) thats why I am asking you. So what is some stuff you can tell me so I dont get all kinds of detontanation and premature wear on my engine. I need the car to last through 2 years more of college and hopefully longer, its a daily driver. Should I just forget all about N20 cause there is no safe way or what? Thanks fellas.

51,000 miles, great shape.

read the nitrous for newbies sticky. the ex engine is good to run nitrous in and has a lot of potential. my old ex used to kick ass before my tranny gave out.

yea mine held good with the heavy duty plate and street disc but i havent ran too much with my new plate system yet.
back to the subject of my tranny on the old EX...i used to drive it hard so i wasnt surprised when it got fucked. launching at 5500 RPMs with a 6 puck disc and heavy duty pressure plate, with nitto 555r drag radials, and nitrous all in 1st gear...thats pretty harsh on the tranny.
