Sylvania Silverstar Headlight bulbs
I put these in my car about a month ago. They are much MUCH brighter than stock, have excellent coloration (white) and they havn't burned up my wires! I have had el cheapo bulbs and I have had PIAA. These are better than both.
9 out of 10

that box looks OLD.
but still, I have Silverstars in my car as well, had it for 9 whole month since i had my car, didn't burn out yet. good bulbs.
but it sucks on rain+black roads.
only down side of the Silverstar, but other wise, very good!

the oem bulbs suck as well on wet black asphalt roads. I think the only way to remedy that is with fog lights.

Ive had silverstars for OVER a year, and they keep going. They are being replaced with HID lighting right now, but if I wasnt upgrading, I wouldnt get rid of them.
I just some for my bros wrx for christmas, once again, big imporvment, and the output color is nice!

I wasnt pleased with my SIlverstars. Too much, and they were no brighter than stock. I just recently got a new set of Xenon after my 2nd set of Silverstars in a year burned out. The Xenon where almost half the price, they have a nicer bluish/white color, and they are brighter than the Silverstars could even begin to be. Got mine at BestBuy

u must like the *blue*ish color.
and you might have touched the bulb before installing, that's the only reason the bulbs went out so fast.

Just put them in
On the Silverstars. A big autoparts chain had them on sale and with a 5$ rebate to boot..Only 29.99 a pair!
The light is a clean bright white. They really give a clear illumination to the road. Here is a photo, showing the contrast between stock and Silverstars.
Remember this is on a white wall..would be more pronounced on a dark surface.

Although I like the silverstars, people keep saying they are expensive and burn out too fast. Well Ive only had mine in for about 6 mo and one already has burned out - and yes, I was very carefull not to touch them when installing. Dammit - I guess Ill try the xenon ones...
Since Im running with one oem bulb back in place my view looks like this too

Silverstars didn't do a whole hell of a lot on my car besides change the light color a bit, but on my wifes 2002 ex it worked miracles.
