Thumbs up APEXi Power Conditioner and Super Grounding System

Not all grounding kits are created equal....

It's not your everyday grounding kit. The kit includes a power conditioner along w/ the ground wires. I have had this unit installed on my MR-S since march and it's worked great for me. idle is smooth and power delivery is smoother and more linear. also, i've noticed better gas mileage and less power loss when the a/c is on. overall mileage has improved also. i'm getting the same mileage now as i did when my car was stock. the only downside is that i paid about $200 for this brand new, fresh-from-the-research-lab unit at APEX's garage sale. however, it has paid itself back at the pump in less than 6 months. it's probably a bit cheaper now too

i don't have any dyno numbers from my car or from any hondas just yet....but on the XS Engineering STi, this unit bumped power up by 8.5 awhp

hmm ultra~ i don't know if i can quite agree with you on this one.. i remember reading a post long time ago in g35driver.com one of the guy purchsed something similar to what you have (i forget the manufacturer) but he decided to open the power conditioner up to see what it was made out of (he even uploaded the pix)...he was surpised to see that it was made out of tin foil and other extraneous wires. concluded that it was a piece of sh*t

i'll try to find the thread and link it to SHO...

im a skeptic.. sure apexi is a great reputable company~ perhaps maybe its because i really don't know the product? sorry but i need to see the gains on dyno to believe it~ hehe

Buddy Club now produces one thatmatches the quality, if not better than the Apexi one. Same looks and design, but the Buddy Club has a nice blue LED bar on it. Blue wires... and its only $160

i have had mine for about 4 months now and love it. Def a smother idle and my volts at idle shot up as well as the volts while driving. whith my pulleys and sound system my car idled at 11 volts now it idles at 12.5, while driving it was 12.5 and now gose up to 14 to 14.5 depend on the revs. well worth the 200 bucks, plus if that 8.5 whp is true or close to true that only cost $23.52 per each whp, which is not a bad price. but we all know 8.5 may be a bit high, but helps me sleep better at night! LOL LOL :clap

I believe those are universal.

Anyways, anyone have a chance to do a comparison between the APEXi and the Buddy Club ones?
