Abs plastic? bondo?

my car was slightly tapped on my integra right in the middle of my front bumper. It looks like the plastic was just pushed in. Is there any way to fix this or do i need a whole new bumper? I was thinking about heating the plastic and pushing it out and maybe some sort of special bondo , but then again its plastic and wouldnt it shrink and expand due to heat? Thanks

I'm not familiar with the teg bumpers...but they have plastic on em? I thought it was pretty much all fiberglass. But bondo should be able to work for pretty much anything if you're able to clear the area up and get rid of that excess damaged crud and really prep the surface.

There is a urethane fuller putty that should be used for plastic and urethane parts and bumpers. . . Bondo will probably not bond correctly nor will it be flexible like urethane, plus bondo and urethan have different thermal expansion rates, so you will ultimately end up with cracks. Repair urethane bumpers with urethane filler.

They're right. Can't use Bondo. Urethane filler *can* crack.

How bad is it? Pics? Have you taken it to a body shop for an estimate?

Without seeing it or knowing how bad it is, you can either live with it, get it repaired/repainted, or replace it with a new factory/aftermarket bumper.

Just my $.02

take off the bumper and see if u can force it out. If not, spend some money to get an aftermarket one, or file a claim
