well im in the process of getting a new battery, and they told me i cant get a yellow top for a while, and the blue top is slightly more expensive. THEN i went on to buy some NGK blues. I'm planning on repainting my intake tube, and i was thinking black up until the other day
it occured to me, in all this blue-ness, how would it look if i did the dizzy cap(can i paint it, i have a new one to go on in my room), the valve cover, the intake tube, etc all blue? not sure if it would look tacky or not. also i was thinking i could make a prelude stencil somehow and stencil on a blue prelude logo on the intake piping that i would paint baclk and the calipers i will paint black(or maybe blue) soon as well.
so hows does this blue sound. i could go blue, black with blue prelude logos, or no blue at all... any opinions/examples would be good.
Mods: All stock, for now. Hooked up the stereo though.
Too much of one color looks dumb. You need some contrast. Id just do blue accents. Blue valve cover, intake tube, and FPR if you want. Leave the dizzy and wires black. Polished strut bar would look good too.

1997 GSR- 192whp 130wtq all motor. SOLD

1998 Nissan 240SX SE New!

Your engine looks so brown and dull lol
since you already have yellow sparks, I wouldn't go with blue...blue and yellow aren't a really great mix n match
I'd try for a lighter green
You can actually get prepainted and lightweight valve covers on ebay, check that out too
Get a grounding system, it barely does shit but can look pretty neat and busy
replace your tubes with colored ones
the rest i think is ok to paint

I also have a silvr 97 and Blue is one of my favs. I went blue on the valve cover and brake calipers myself, got blue OBX wires and llike a shiny metallic blue intake. Still going to put a few Blue LED's inside and maybe under hood though. Dont overdo it though, I almost did but I think I will try and chrome out the rest of the engine as much as I can..Or afford. I can send U pics of my engine if u want. I do like the Idea of prelude stencil

Now all you need to do is clean that dusty engine bay....yikes. Simple green is quick and easy but theres much better out there that will be nicer and more effective in a way.
