carbon fiber hood polish

hey whats up guys for those of you with Carbon fiber hoods i was wondering what is the best polish to use on them meguiars, mothers or would it be something special to keep it protected from the elements and looking good? Thanks

im pretty sure you can just use the same wax as the rest of the car, but dont quote me on that...can anyone verify this?

from my understanding they are gel-coated similar to boats or maybe the same so i would assume that a special polish may need to be used.

i asked my dad, and he said the coat that is on the CF hood is WAX safe..you can use the same shit on ur car as on ur hood....so i guess go for it..next week i am gonna wax my car and hood so ill let u know how it went
