Carbon Fiber Hood Quality?!?

simple question, who make the best one when it comes to quality and more important durablility. A friend of mine has a hood that has rock chips in the clear coat, and it looks nasty. I live in hawaii, and after shipping a carbon fiber hood comes out to $600-700 dollars or so, an expensive investment for us. I dont want to buy a hood with a cheapo clear coat that ends up looking like crap.

Carbon Fiber Hoods

Vis is the best recognized brand of Carbon Fiber Hoods. I used to have one it was worth the money, I live in Anchorage AK and payed about $650 shipped for mine. But as long as its a "grade A" rated hood it should be good.

grade C Carbon-fiber hood : many little flaws
($ prett cheap)

grade B Carbon-fiber hood : few little flaws
($ reasonable)

grade A Carbon-fiber hood : flawless
($ ouch)
