H.I.D. questions

wanna get an H.I.D. kit but are there any lighting restrictions in georgia i should know about? i dont wanna get it and have the cops harassing me every time they see me.....next question....is this something i can install myself? i have no clue as to how it (H.I.D.) works....is it just a bulb u get or or a whole kit that needs to be professionally installed?

you can buy you a plug and ply kit for about 140 shipped.



pretty much theres a box and a bulb......everything plugs right in.......change bulbs.....plug boxes in....aka the ballasts, mount the ballast under the head lights or in your fenders so you cant see those.



and if you have lighting restictions...i would suggest no more than a 6k.....the higher number you go......the more color there is....the lower the number the brighter..

Check out www.neverburnout.com they got good kits, lifetime warranty on bulbs. but yeah, hids consist of a gas filled bulb which connects to a ballast which is a box, which is plugged into your stock bulb harness. I would just get a 6k kit and you should be fine, even though it will probably glare like a beyatch but i've never had a problem driving by people with hids in headlights not made for them.
