Help!!! Clearcoat is Chipping!

The Clearcoat is Chipping on one of my rims because i put sumtin on them that i wasn't suppose to. Should I just get the whole rim Re-Clearcoated?? Approximately how much would that cost??

Yes do the whole wheel.I don't know how much it would cost to get fixed but its not hard to do you're self.

prep the surface as if you were going to paint it. (lightly sand it) and then remove all debris with soap and water.

Make sure the chipping clear coat is scratched completely off you need to remove the weak stuff or touching up the clear coat is a mute point.

Fingernail polish often works well for stopping clear coat from becoming any worse.

Have a pro fix it if ya can, I heard the fingernail polish will buy you some time to scrape up the cash for a real paint job. This came from a guy whos been painting for the majority of his life.
