Hood repair

I picked up this carbon fiber hood the other day.
And obviously it needs some work. For the finish what should i do? Or what should i get done. And i took a picture of how the hood is separating. Whats a fix for that?
Thanks

i've never owned a cf hood, but i'd think that you could get a clear coat respray, and that would make it look alot better. as for the seperating, the best thing that i could think of is to get some real good glue, a clamp, and rag, and glue it and then clamp it down, being very careful not to crack it or make scratches ( do this before the repaint)

Im hoping to have a guy who has experience with cf wetsand it and clear coat it. Just wonderin what kind of glue is recommended?

I picked it up from a shop for free, so i dont mind spending a little money on it.

well, the good thing is that it was free. you can wetsand the clear yourself its not too hard. but the bad news is that the seperation doesn't look so good. i would definitely be careful with that. would you mind taking pictures of the underside of the hood? if you check that out you might be able to make a better decision on the extent of the seperation. carefully inspect the corners and everything, maybe sometimes using a flashlight to see the depth of the cracks.
