Interior Falling Apart

Good Evening,
I have been reading many threads around here lately, but I finally decided to join. This is my first post, and I am just starting to get into cars, so please bear with me if I don't use the proper name for parts. So onto my question.

I drive a '99 TL, with around 211,000 miles on it. I was noticing the other day as I was throwing some clothes in the back seat, that the soft tan colored padded thingys, the main part of the armrest, is pulling away from the black hard plastic case type thing, that houses the window button and small trash thing. I looked around the rest of the car, and noticed it is happening on all of them. I also noticed that the top half of the dash, which has the center two vents the heat and cooling controls, and my XM radio is attached to it. That piece is tearing away from the top of the dash. I do NOT have navigation if that makes a difference.

That brings me to my question. What should I use to reattach these pieces? Should I take the armrests off the door and fix it that way? Put some glue on it and hold it in place?

What will the approximate cost be of fixing it? I am still in high school, and my cash is limited. Thanks in advance for your help. I hope to have pictures up soon.

Jimmy Baker.
