From one black Civic owner to another:

Let me recommend the following products to you...
Clay Bars are a must have...

Meguiars medallion Premium Paint Cleaner
Meguiars Professional Show Car Glaze
Meguiars Professional Swirl Remover
Meguiars Professional HI TECH yellow wax
Meguiars medallion premium Paint Protection wax
Meguiars Color RX
Meguiars Quick Detailer/ Professional Final Inspection

All these products work like a charm to keep that black car looking clean, shiny, and of course.... SWIRL FREE... You have it made if you own a hi speed buffer...

Yeah I just clayed the front of a friends accord. Works wonders. I also used mothers clay bar kit , since its what is normally only available at my local auto shops.

But then I follow with meguairs paint cleaner. Then move on to show car glaze #7 I believe. Then gold class or NXT and your done.

Scratch-X on scratches and other blemishes is also a good product....pretty much user-error free...use it how you like.

Also havent used color-X yet , kinda makes me wonder. Its got wax stuff in it so im not so sure.

i usually just color-x before the NXT just to get rid of any fine scratches and such for the week and finish up with the NXT to close it all in
