Need touch up help!!!

Well... I bought a new integra GSR that has been re-sprayed a color of lexus golden almond metallic and the paint is not the best but i cant afford to change it right now. Most of the window moldings were not removed so they all need to be replaced or cleaned up, no big deal it's an older car, but the problem is that you can see paint on the moldings, there are chips around the edges, and also some uncovered white . The paint is single stage, so my question is should i use a few cans of color match spray paint,or just wait until i can paint the whole car? Also, has anyone ever done this? What kind of results did you get?

well im going to spray it... it cant look that bad ill post pics. I don't really wanna dump 3k into paint. After all its a go car not an entirely show car. Peace...

i don't know if you've sprayed your car yet or not, but a big deal is knowing what paint maybe be on there! if it's single stage, you may use a spray can over it and it could lift, not a 100% chance that it would, but that's just a precautionary warning. most single stages if not all are enamel nowadays, so using an enamel based spray may work? if you go with a laquer based paint, it could bubble and peel up. Or, 2nd opinion....if you plan to repaint within the next year, just wait. if it's not that hideous, i'd just wait until then.

Use this stuff called Body Sol it will take paint off moldings without taking it off the car. I have been a full service detail person for 8yrs and i know alot of tricks and good products to use, Yell at me if you need anything
