New clear

I have the opportunity to trade my stock hood for a oem style carbon hood that had the clear sanded down. Can I repapplie the clear?

You can reclear carbon fiber hoods, Ive done a few dozen that way. But you need to make sure what grit paper they used when it was sanded. Anything under 600 grit and you could run into problems with seeing sand scratches when you reclear. You also want to make sure they haven't sanded through the gelcoating on the hood. Make sure you check the edges and corners real good. If it was sanded through you could run into some blistering when you apply the clear. Hope this helps. Good luck
