Which order for detailing??

Ok i just bought Color-X, NXT wax, Clay bar system, and paint cleaner from Meguiars. Now what order do i apply these?? I have a red nissan frontier and the paint is full of swirls and little scratches so i am hoping this will help a lil bit.

Yeah thats most likely the meguiars crystal paint cleaner / swirl remover. Its step 1 , it should say that.

But as for what youve selected:

Its wash , clay , paint cleaner , colorX , NXT wax.

Wash it , clay it , then bring it into the garage , dry it , then goto work. I always do my stuff in the garage to make sure ZERO sun hits my paint.

Im going to detail my car today too. That system you got sounds great. Is there a certain technique or trick of the trade when using the clay-cleaner-colorx-wax? Im planning on washing it and drying it outside, then bringing it to the shop for the rest. Do you recommend elbow grease or buffers? Thanks!

i just like old fashioned arm strength as for the clay bar technique u just spray the clay lube on a clean dry surface and rub the bar back and forth....its really easy.

color x is somethign that is supposed to enhance ur color a little bit by removing minor scratches and swilr marks while detailing clay is used to get the imperfections off pain such as tar, bugs, sap to leave the finish nice and smooth
