For those with a body kit.
Do you regret having it for a daily driver?

i had a body kit on my impreza for a while, it was not worth it. it got scraped, ate to shit, and was a waste of money. also, when i took it off, i had a lot of body work to do to make it look good again.

I have a body kit on my mazda, and I wish I never wasted the money. If you really like the looks of body kits and don't mind spending a hunk of cash, then you should get your kit from veilside or wings west. They are more expensive, but they will bolt right up and have little to no problems. Just don't go the route I did with my daily. Do not buy a body kit from ebay.

if u don't do much driving then why not... I just smashed my kit after having it for 2 years all because i moved to the country and my driveway is just a massive hill. But i do agree that the body work required sucks! pick ur goals, and do some hw and u will be happy in the end

body kits arent bad. it all depends were you live. I DO live in the country and drive my sol as a daily driver how ever it is garage kept in the winter. But its mostly what you like. If you like the fast and furious thing then get a kit if you like a sleek look then geta a lip kit or nothing at all but lower it and get a good stance. I liken either way. I dont hate on either as long as its done tastfully. Just go with what you like. At the beginning of nex summer im gettin an RSX-S and im goin to keep the clean and more sleeper look. Just keep us updated on whatever you pick.

You can look at my pics.I have a kit and dont have any problems with it..If you do your homework and have it put on right you shouldnt have problems.. If your smart about driving and know what you can and can not do they you will be fine.. For me I live in a smaller town in Oklahoma = Shitty roads...But I have never scraped mine. Just be careful and you will be fine. As for lipkits and what not if I had to do it again I would just stay stock with the Mugan Front lip...Looks cleaner in my opinion but thigns were different when I put my kit on.

you have to be aware of bumps 100% of the time...I hate doing that
If I even decide to put a kit on my next car...(mine came with one on it) I will invest in air ride so I dont have to listen to the dreaded scraping
I hate going over stuff at an angle

thats true, if ur safe and your body kit isnt like an inch from the ground, then itll be ok if u watch out
but its inevitable, whether is a small rock on the highway, or if its dark out and u dont see a ditch or w/e
