As you might have tried before or known. A computer monitor is essentially a HD Monitor , except better. If you have played online videos or a DVD , this is a lower resolution video and wont look as good as it can on a computer monitor.
Your computer monitor can also support resolutions well beyond a standard HD television....... Well most can.
Microsoft has created a download page for High Definition Content Showcase.
All you need is windows media player and a fast computer. If you get any lagging try a lower resolution or smaller file.
Be amazed at how HD Video looks at home right NOW. Nothing special is needed , just these files/videos.

Mods: K&N Filter, home made 3" exhaust, walbro 255lph fuel pump, exedy clutch. Rebuilt motor myself with ARP bolts. Has about 190rwhp now, should be good for 350+ after other upgrades.

From what Ive read 1ghz cpu's are sufficient for trying this. If the computer was made 2000 on its worth a try.

Well I put it togeather myself.
I forget when I got the mobo/cpu but its a 1ghz Athlon on an FIC board, with only 256 PC133 memory. And I have a Geforce 4 MX (4400 I think). I origionally had a GF2 MX and loved it, and thought the GF4 MX would have everythign a GF4 did, but be slower...
