Hello Everyone,
I have a 2005 Honda Accord DX that comes with the stock steel rims and tires. I have to get new tires before the winter and would like to go from the 15" steel rims that it has now to 16" alloy. I figured since I have to change the tires might as well spring in some extra money and get new alloy rims. Now that said, will there be any problems with the increase in size. First off it looks like there is plenty of space for the rim and tire to fit. I understand that my speedometer will be slightly off and the mpg might increase a bit as well ( which will be offset by having the brand new continental tires - compared to the crap I on there now).
Is there anything else I should worry about? Any comments? Previous experiences doing this? I appreciate all comments and help.
Thanks,
Tod
