Question Accord 97 Aftermarket Wheels

I recently bought used Motegi 18" rims, from a guy who had them on his Accord 96. I put 2 new tires on to match 2 good ones already on, Wanli 225/40ZR18. My question is, are these wheels/tires too big for my Accord? The suspension has not been modified, and the wheels fit on good without any rubbing. Any help greatly appreciated.

I used to work for Discount Tire Company and the only problem that I seen with 18's on an Accord is that when there was weight in the back of the car the tires would rub just a little. It wasnt much but this person was really anal. I had some 18 on a 88 accord and they only rubbed when i hit big bumps thats it. It really depends on the the offset of the wheels and you might have to actually go to a 225/35/18 if they rub. I suggest put them on and get a couple buddies and have them sit in the back and take it for a spin and see what happens.
