Accord/H22a gearbox differences

Bangkoknick Noob Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Bangkok, Thailand Posts: 42 Car: 96 Accord Vtie Mods: H22a / trans, CAI, de-catted, custom s/s exhaust, re-mapped ECU, Supra fuel pump, carbonfibre valve cover, f / r strut bars, Eibach, Koni, Prelude d/shafts & front brakes 17" Kosei Senekas, 215/45 Falkens, Grant s/wheel, Altezza tails(sorry	Accord/H22a gearbox differences I'm going to replace my H22a auto with a manual box, anybody know how I identify a genuine H22a box? I don't want to get stuck with an Accord one. Does it have H22a marked on it like the engine has?

v4lu3s Digital Blueprint Join Date: Feb 2002 Posts: 1,923 Car: Mods:	m2a4, m2s4, m2b4, m2f4, m2y4, m2u4 are all H series transmissions. i beleive m2*5 are EDM H series while the 4 ones are JDM/uSDm.

v4lu3s Digital Blueprint Join Date: Feb 2002 Posts: 1,923 Car: Mods:	different gearing the m2u4 is also useless as it is an ATTS transmission. the m2a4 , s4, , f4 and y4 are all non lsd and have slightly different gearing while the m2b4 has lsd.
