-= Attn: Accords with Leather =-

Hey everyone i have a 5th gen accord and i recently purchased a leather interior kit for it. When i was getting the estimate yesturdayw ith the guy doing the install we came across these door panel inserts.

I am questioning wether these go with my 5th gen accord. It6 doesnt seem like they would fit the door. here is a link where i have pictures of these inserts. Can someone look them over and see if they look like they would fit in a 5th gen accord.

I think they look like they are from a 6th gen accord. Can someone help me out with this????

Door Panel Insert PICS****

Thanks

Jaccordan

It looks like the piece that goes right where the cloth panels are...I think you just have to cut a hole where the little hole/scoop/handle to close the door thing would go. I think that hole would be cut in the area of the leather that ISN'T gathered. Gathered part should be vertical. Just my 2 cents. How much did you pay for the leather interior? I'm considering doing the same thing? Does the leather feel just as good as OEM...better? Please let me know, i'm interested.

Thanks for the info. I am praying that this kit is for my car. still waiting on word and pics of the same interior done on an other car recently. The kit i have is a plush style leather that has nice comfortable padding. I think it feels as good or better than the oem leather. Also when i took the kit to get estimated on how much its gonna cost he saw some kind of logto on the underside and said that this was a very high quality leather material. so i guess its pretty good. The leather definatly looks amazingly good.

the kit comes with everything. Everything inside your car that is made of cloth is replaced with leather. Everything. door panels, center consol, back & front seats. ect

I think that's the right side panel for your 5th gen accord bro, i had 6th gen accord and it's much diff than that...
but the leather kit could be done by yourself, but you're right about the side panel... because you have to spray the adhesive to glue your side panel.... it's really tough to glue it n your side panel, but the seats, center consol is easy to install... all it just just clips and wrap over your seats... just do the seats yourself and get the shop to do your side panel, save money.

here's the rear side that i did it...

but the bad news is the adhesive they came with the kit it wasn't good enought to stick the leather to the doors.... so i didn't do the front yet...

this pic kinda blurry, cuz i compress the pic in low quality..
