I have a 99 accord. need to do some suspension work that is going to be fairly jarring. (cradle bent some) Wondering if there is a simple way to disable the SRS system so i dont pop an airbag?
I guess I should have clarified this part. I need it running to put some torque on powertrain. It has some noise I am chasing as part of this. So the root of the question would be to temp disable SRS while running.
unhook the battery, find the airbag control module, unplug it, reconnect the battery, the backup power in that module only lasts a few seconds
