Car title help :)

Hi I am new to forums and I Live in Indiana.. My question: Just bought a awesome car from a little old lady, Then my dog ate the title and the lady moved , I bought it off of her and never got her number, the dog died shortly after. Its a cursed car probably, yup you can laugh now, lol

Call up the DMV and see what they say. They'll probably laugh at you like you said. Lol.

A guy told me That I Could do a Mechanics Lean, But you have to be a Certified mechanic with a garage to do that I'm pretty sure.

you have to get the little old lady to get the new title it sucks but Im going through tracking down one myself

Yeah its really hard to find people sometimes, there has got to be a way if you cant find someone or if they die, Ill check out that bonded title. Wish I was a licensed Mechanic right about now, lol

a mechanics lien isnt what would help you. A lien is when someone owe you money and cant pay, then you put a lien on their car until its paid back. for example, when you buy a car with a car loan, the back puts a lien on the title as a condition to make you pay. In CT after 90 days you can apply for an abandoned vehicle tittle. youd be better off looking into that than wasting your time with a lien
