do you guys think 750 plus 125 shipping is a good price for a 2001 cl tranny? i was thinking of buying this and buying an accord euro r gauge cluster that has its redline at 7200 rpm and no gea selector on the gauges itself. will this definitley fit on our accords? can i still use my old ecu?

your gonna need the ecu to control that tranny, your current ecu is designed for a 4speed trans. cl is a 5, kinda seems hard to believe that someone would be selling a cl trans. for 750. they must have stolen the car and are now parting it out. if thats the case tell them that you want the engine/ecu/and tranny. you can swap all that into your accord and have a beast.

he is selling the engine but i can't afford to buy the engine. I have a 75 shot of nos i may put back into my car if i buy the transmission. I am also trying to purchase the front fenders, bumper,hood and lights from someone else who has a wrecked cl type s so i can do a front end conversion.

oh, i think that would kinda look stupid, no offence if you want to do that thats fine but i would never do that, i would go for the engine/ecu/tranny swap. i think the front end of the accord looks a helluva lot better than the cl. do what you want tho. but if your gonna swap that transmission your gonna need the ecu too. is that same guy selling you all the front end peices too? if he is, that car is defenitely stolen and your should report that to the cops, i hate bitches that steal cars!
yeah and i think that 5speed auto is fun to play with, its alot more performance oriented than our 4speed. my moms tl will bark the tires hitting second under WOT. and if your rolling about 20mph and floor it it drops to 1st and starts laying rubber, well my moms does but we have already determined that it is a factory freak. ive race auto z28's that couldnt pull away from me in that thing.
