Connecting Amp to Stock Headunit (05 Accord EX)

I would like to connect an amp with Speaker-Level inputs to my stock system. I found some information saying I need a Line Output Converter, and some saying that if your amp has Speaker-Level Inputs you don't need one. Do I just tap into the rear speakers or is there a output behind the stock headunit?

When I had my Chevy and installed my subs..I had to buy a line out converter. A line out converter is only necessary if you still have your factory head unit. Most aftermarket head units have an output...but for the factory ones..tap into your rear speakers and connect your line out converter which converts the sound signal to RCA's which will connect to your amp.

if you but a decent amp kit it should provide you with the rca's if not then just run the wire from your head unit to you ramp and then have any stereo shop put them on for you or.
run to radio shack or whatever electronics store is by you and buy the ends to make your own.

like he said if you have and aftermarket unit they usually have rca input and outputs

some of theolder headunits have them also but they just have 2 for the sub only. so be carefull what your looking at.
